NOTICE is hereby given that the Piako County Council popose, in accordance with the provisions of " The Counties Act, J876," and the amend ments thereof, to borrow a sum of money by way of special loan, and the particulars hereunder arc published for the in - tounatiou ot the uitopayeis in accord ance with section 140 of the said act : — The paiticular woik for which the money is to be borrowed. — Defraying cost of Te Aroha Ti am way. The sum pioposed to be borrowed for the purpose. — £9000. Revenue it is pioposed to pledge as secuiity tor buch loan. — Gold duty accruing to the council, rent ot tramway if leased, and a special annually recurring rate of one fai thing in the £, such rate not to be collected in any year when tho rc\cnne fiom the two firbt- mentioned sources shall amount to the sum of £900.
