Thh results of the standaid examinations at the Hamilton District High School show nine passes out of ten piesented. One gnl was absent from illness. These 1 exults must br regarded as Ipghly satisfactory, especially when we consider that only four on the roll had pie\ious]y parsed any standard, two the third, and t\\ o the fum th. Of these four three passed the fifth, while the fourth was the solitary failure. The«e facts speak much for the cue and industry displayed by the master, Mr Vcrekei Bindon, whose heart is thoioughly in his work. The names of the hiicce->bful candidates are : — Stand \nn Vl.— Jane H. Day Biggs, Bessie H. Sandes. Standard V.—Hatry M. Hume, Ethel S. Beaie, Annette E. Lyon, James H, Lyon, Nellie K. Sander.
