Mb Alfbkd Uuckiano's Wkkkxy liePOltx, —There was a full supply of fodder at the Hayniarket on Friday last. Pi ices were without alteration, and ranged from 3s to 5s per cwt. Good maize, 4s to 4s 2d ; damaged, from 2s per bushel; oats, 2s Sd per bushel; oaten ehalf, £5 10* per ton. Horse fctock were m modeiate number, but of cood quality ; heavy draught in dem uul ; prices ranged from £27 10s to £54 each ; medium draught and light harness, fioni £10 to £22. On Tuesday hides ranged from 2id to 3W per Ib ; f.vt and tallow, from 16s to 2fks~por cwt; pelts, 7d to lOd; skins, from 1* 9d t<> 3s 2d each. The sale at Papakura, on Wednesday, was confined to quiet cows and heifets of a modeiati, class. Prices varied from €2 10s to £5 10 each, with a dull enquiry. At Ilemuera, on Thursday, stock of all kinds wore in less numlv-is than usual. Promising dm y cows were f.iiily competed for, and brought from £f> 10s to £8, but medium quality wendull. Growu .store cattle in ftesh condition sold well,, but low conditioned and young cattle were dull of sale. Fat cattle were •uniformly of good quality and better worth. Prices ranged troni 2k to 27s per 1001 bs. Sheep were in usual number and obtained an advance of near \d per lb ; best wether.-, \veieat3d. The pigs adveitispd weie of eood quality, and coining to a baro market, sold well. They realised fully 4d per lb, live weight. Fat calves were scarce and at extreme prices. Competition was good thioughout the "-ale, and prices lulcd m favour of the \c:itloi as compaied with the previous week. Wool, hides and skms . Slim t supply. Puces on Tuesday ranged— Hides, fiom 2\d t<> 33d ; Meins fioni Is 11.1 to 3» 2d : wool, lid to iHd. Cattle ; The numbei brought forward has been below the, average, and prices have had an npwaid tendency for fat stock. Dairy cows fully maintained their value, but few stmes were disposed of. Scarcely an average number weie yarded at Newmarket on Tuesday. Prices for good beof weie firmer, but theio was no noteworthy alteiation in valucof other descriptions of stock. Sheep : The supply conesponded to that of fat beasts, the result being a slight enhancing of value. Wethers langed fiom 14s to VU fid. A small draft of very fat ewes fiom Mi Lake reached 22s 3d. Pigs scarce, consequently prices favomed settler.
