Grey); a bill for better securing the purity of intoxicating liquors (Mr Levestam) ; Wmton and Port Chalmers* Empowering (Mr Cowan) ; to amend the Licensing Act, 1881 (Mr Stewart) ; to amend the Auckland College and Grammar School Act, 1877 (Mr Dargaville) ; changing the trusts of the Ohnstchurch Market Resen es (Mr Holmes); tl.e Napier Harbour Board Empowering and Loan (Mr Smith) ; to amend the Anatomy Act, 1805 (Mr Fulton) ; to amend the Employment of Females and Others Act, 1881 (Mr Bradshaw); Napier Hospital (Mr Smith); to define and legulate the hours of labour within the colony of New Zealand (Mr Bradshaw) ; School Committees Election (Mr Steward); Hokitika racecourse icserve (Mr Bevan); Presbyteiian Chuich of Otago Amendment (Mr Larnach.) NO COXFinEKCE MOTION. On the application of Mr Stout it was agreed that the no-confidence motion should be taken at 7.30. The House adjourned at 3.5 to 7.30.
