[keuter's telforams.] Londox, August 26. Thr cricket match at Brigliton concluded to-day. The Cambridge eleven in their second innings were only able to put together 94 runs, and the Australians thus won by 141 runs.

[Received August 29, 3.25 p.m.] London, August 28. The Australian cricketers commenced a match to-day at Gravesend against an eleven representing the South of England, composed as follows :— Lord Harris (captain), Messrs McKemp, H. Y. Page, uhristopherson, A. P. Lucas, W. W. Read, W. E. Roller, Jesse Hyde, G. Woolton, OBrien, and Humphries. The weather was fine, and there was a good attendance of spectators. The Australians went in first, and remained at the wicket the whole of the day, most of the batsmen making excellent defence aud displaying grand cricket. The highest scores were : Bannerman, bowled, 44 ; McDonnell, caught, 66; Murdoch, bowled, 59; Giffen, caught, 32!fBlackham, ' not out, 55. When the stamps were drawn, the Australians' score stood, at 354 with' nine wickets down.
