The Mackay-Anderson Case. The meeting of James Andersons creditors yesterday lapsed. The only creditor of the estate appears to be Miss Mackay, who obtained a veidiut of £250 for ft bieach of promise of marriage. It is alleged that the bankrupt, just -prior to absconding, made o\er his property to M r A. H." Nathan, and as any such proceeding within three months of the^ insolvency is rendered void by law, Mr Nathan has been biumnoiu'd to attend at the Official Assignee's office on Monday aftortoon for cx.amiuatiou. So far the assets do not seem likely to amount to moie than £30.

The Hunt Club. At a meeting of the Pakuranga Hunt Club, the annual lace meeting .was fixod for Octoboi 25th.

Sale of Racehorses- , Mr Lennarrl's racehorses were offered by auction at Buokland's, today, but with the exception of Xantippe, who was purchased by Mr Wliitelaw for £18 10s, nil were withdrawn. A bay mare by Pacific-Nimble (in foal to Piscatorius), was sold to Mr G. Jlazell for £19, and the jumping horse The Barb, by Gillie Callum OiLmdo, found a purchaser at £14 103.

Auckland Racing Club. At a committee meeting of the Auckland Racing Club, tiie programmes for the forthcoming feason were brought up and finally adopted. The large sum of £5,820 in added money is to be given away at the four meetings, distributed as follows : — Spiing meeting, £570, Summer meeting, £3,250 ; Autumn meeting, £1,3.30 ; steeplechase meeting, £630. The Auckland Cup has been raised to GOOsovs., tlie steeplechase to 300iovs., and the added money of several of the other e\ents at the Summer meeting has alt>o been increased. It was also decided b\ the committee to add 750sovs. to the Derby to be run at the Summer meeting oi 18SGS7, and rename it "The Great \oilhun Derby."
