Mr l>iassey watched the proceeding on buhalf of the mother of the child. The evidence dis closed nothing new. The medkM.l tu-ti-mony went to show that the child died f >f &unocatio«.
[HY TKLKGRAI'II.— O\\ X C'ORRESPUNDKM I .] Auckland, IMclay Night. The adjourned inquest on the boily of the child Wilson was continued to day. Nothing important was elicited, with the exception of a sho\el, the propeity of the mother, which wa3 coveied with earth. The jury returned a \cirlict that the child was found dead, aud that it had died of suffocation, but there was no evidence to show how it came by its death.
