The total leturn of gold for the month fiom the Waioiongonitii Batteiy is 891ozs 17dwts , m.ade up as follows :—: — New Find, 5040J53. 4dwts., fiom 438 trucks ; Colonist, 20Gozs. lOdwts., fion. 19S tracks ; Canadian, Soozs. Gclwts., fiom 131 tiuuks; Inverness, S.lozs. 13dwts., fiom 100 trucks ; and Premier, 130/s. ddwts , fiom tailings. The damage done on the tramway by the late stoi in is not so considerable as at til st thought. Should the weather keep anything like fine, the repahs will bo finished, it is c\| ected, by the end oi the week, and the line will be opened on Monday.
