PRESENTATION TO MR ROBERT BRADLEY.
A rAK(.r number of fiiends will learn with regiet that Mr Robert Bi ad ley, w ho has for some years been connected with Mr J. S. BuckJand in his business in Waikato, is about to take his departure from our midst. Mr Bradley has, dining his lesulence amongst us, made many btaunch fiiendb and fc\v enemies, and it must be pleasing to him to find that he takes w ith him the good \\ ishes of those w ith whom he has been most mti'iiately connected dining bis sojourn in this distnct. On Tuesday, at Ohaupo, before proceeding to the business of the day, Mr J. S. Buckland said lie had been requested by bis employois to peifonn a most pleasing duty, namely, that of piesenting to Mr Robert Bi ad ley the following letter, together with a small somenierfor himself, Misßiadlev and Miss Bradley. We piav God to grant you and youis many a long yeai of happiness, and the peace and contentment which yon ha\o hitheito so fully paiticip.itcd in.— We aie, deai Mr Biadley, yoiu veiy sinceie friends, Jxo. Giucd. 0 J. Scoki'a, W. W. HiGfiiX'sOX, Wrujur Boxn, Junes Cvmfhox, Natuvxikl Mv-,ov, AVvr:n:ii Mivviwu, M. Dj'lvvv, (rKoii'iK Kohijjs, Si:xa., (i£OHGi:KouLms Junk., Mlkdoch Mlxho. Mr Bucklaud then presented Mr Bi adley with a silver-mounted meerschaum pipe for his own use, a very handsome workbox, silver bracelet and brooch for Mis Biadley, and a verj neat hand basr, with lady's companion attached, for Miss Bradley. Mr Bradley, who was very much affected, returned his sinceie thanks to the gelltlemt.ll w ho had so kindly thought of himself and his wife and daughter, and assured Mr Buckland that they would over remember the kindly expressions of ipgaid emanating from his fellow-workers.
