The third of the year's soiies of colonial wool auctions was opened to day before a laige attendance ot Hone a-id Foreign buyei°. The opening cat; lo^ue coinpiised 8700 bales, for w Inch a fair demand was manifested, crossbreds lulmg rather higher than at the close of last auction. The wool to be offeied during the seiies is hunted to 334,000 bales, anJ the sales will close on September 18th.
