Egyptian Affairs. London*, August 5. In fie House of Commons this afternoon, Mr Gladstone made his promised statement as to the intention of the Government in regaid to Egypt. It is announced that Earl Noithbrook, the First Lord of the Admiralty, will proceed to that country this mouth with a High Commisbionei to repot t upon the state of affaiis, and advise the Government as to the best course to puisne. His Lordship will be accompanied by Sir E. Baring, formerly British Consul-General in Egypt.
