[BY TELEGBAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] Death of Mr B. Ireland. Auckland, Wednesday Night. Mr Barton Irkland died suddenly this morning. He had been suffering from a cold for some weeks, bnt it was not considered Bbi ions. He went home labt night at &ix and remained in all night. During the night he was seized with a violent fit of coughing. Dra. Haimesand Saunders were sent for, but Mr Ireland died soon after their arrival. It is supposed he broke a blood vessel. On 'Change. In the sharemarket to-day Imperials are firmer at 26s ; Nsw Find, 10s ; buytas, 10s 3d ; Hand of Friendship, 3s.
