Messrs Huntkh and Nolans Wekkly Report. — Horsos : There has been but a moderate amount of business done, and prices snowed little alteration. At the Durham Yards on Friday there were over an average number of enterics. There wasistfadjt poifipetition throughout the sale, and the previous week's prices were given. We quote : Hacks, from £6 to £27 10s ; light liarness horses, from £9 to £16 ; medium draught^ £24. Wool, hides, and skins : There has been a fair supply of hids as regards number, but no first-class ones were brought forward. Prices ranged from .2id to 3&d per lb.; skins, from Is Gd to 2s 6d each. Cattle : There has been an average number of all descriptions yarded. The demand has been steady, consequently there has been little or no noteworthy alteration in value. Scarcely an average number of fat strore beasts were yarded but there was a good many dairy cows. Values weie the same as the previous week. The fat beasts were either shipborne or local, the exception being" a iiruck from Mr Diprose, from Hamilton, which averaged £S 2s Gd, and one from Mr Hansford, from the same place, averaging £7 13s Cd. Sheep : The New Market yards were again well filled. Th/ere was good competition throught the Mile, and prices had rather an upward tendency, and although 23s Od were given for best wethers, they were not uot nearly bo good sheep as on the previous week—obtained a like figure. Ewee said at from 9s 6d to 17s. Pigs were in adequate supply and steady demand, at the previous week's values. Mil Alfred Buckland's Weekly Repout.—At the Haymarket, on Friday last, fodder brought from 2s Gd to 4s 3d theewt. ; oaten chaff, £5 to £5 10s ; wheaten straw, £1 the ton ; o.its, 2s 5d to 2s 8d ; maize 4s 3d to 4s 7d the bushel. Horse btock were in less numbers than usual, but at late values. At the hide, and skin sale on Tuesday, prices for hides showed an improvement in values, and ranged from 3d to 3g d the lb. ; tallow, 25s to 28s the cwt. ; sheepekins, Is 9d to 2s lOd each ; wool, s^d to 6|d the lb. The cattle in the country Rales are with the reason limited in number, but prices for all stock brought forward are better that a few months since, particularly for young dairy stock. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were very poorly represented. Those brought forward sold well. Fat cattle were in full numbers and generally of good quality. Pi ices were equal to those obtained last week, prices ranging from 23s to 2<>s the 1001 bs. Stoic sheep were in fair enqiry ; ewes in low condition brought 8s ; wetheis, 11s 9d each. Fat sheep in full numbeis, and lower in price, Is to 2s each. Pigs in less than usual numbers and were of good quality, but lower in price than for many weeks. Some averages were : 4G steers, J. R. Gould, £10 2s 6d : 7 steers. Grice and Parker, £10 oh ; 16 steers, T. R. Diprose, £9 12s ; 1G steers, A. Bruce Suttor, £9 3-, 9d ; 8 steers, E. Allen, £8 7s Gd.
