The Couit will sit again tonight, when it is expected all the ividence will be fimshed. Mi 1 Rees conducted the posccution of Mr 13r.issey defends. Seseial passages-at arms have oecnii^d between them. The evidence lias piovecl that tliero has been a good deal of ti eating, but little dhectlj tiaccable to Mi Locke or his acci edited agents. The witnesses in bcvcial instances demanded their expenses befoie giving e\idence, but tlie niagistiate stated he could do nothing, although he sympathised with them. Majo an auctioneer at W.iiroa, stated he came 73 miles. TAUPO, Fiiday. Two swaggers, in chaige of Constable O'Connor, amsed by last night's Napi'ir coach, chaiged with lueaking into the house of Mr King at Run.vnga. WELLIN(iTON, Fiiday. Tlie chaige brought by Mr W. L. Rees against Mr tS. Locke under the Corrupt Practices Act at List election for East Coast was dismissed to day. The decision was greeted with cheers.
