qpO IHE ELECTORS OF WAIPA. The report appearing in The Waikato Times of my Hamilton meeting might lead people to suppose that I would not, if returned, definitely support the present Government, I am pledged to give them my vote, and support to keep them on the Treasuiy benches. WM. JACKSON.
rpo THE ELEdORS OF WAIPA. It having come to the knowledge of Major Jackson's Hamilton friends that his utteiances in pubiic and private will be grossly misrepresented in the Press, aud by circulars and placards, by impolitic supporters of Mr Lake, at a time too late for public denial before the polling-day, ELECTORS are earnestly cautioned against giving any credence to promulgations not bearing Major Jackson's signature. Major Jackson looks upon unworthy electioneering dodges as things of the past, and declines to resort to them. No reflection upon Mr Lake or the capable, zealous, and much-experienced manager of his election is intended. WM. MACGREGOR HAY, Hon Sec. Hamilton Committee. Hamilton, July 18, 18S4.
