[bt telegraph.— own correspondent.] Waiorongomai, Friday Night. Thomas Skelton, the man who i\as injured on the tramway yesterday, is recovering. A few days will see him all right again. There is little mining news of importance. The general monthly clean-up will take place at the battery on Monday next, when a return quite equal to, if not better than last month is expected. The amount of amalgam on hand, so far, is greater now than it was a month ago. The appearance of things on the hill is very healthy.
Mr J. S. Buckland will sell at his Horse Bazaar, Cambridge, on the 7th August under a writ of sale. C. W. Langstone's (interest in five acres with house and out-buildings in the Victoria Road, Cambridge East, known as Clares. Messrs W. J. Hunter and Co. will sell at'the Cambridge Yards on Thursday, the 24th insr., fat cattl<", fat sheep, dairy cows, &c, At Cambridge on Saturday, the 26th, thpy will sell a large number of useful horses of all kinds. At Ohaupe on Tuesday, 29th, they will sell a large number ot cattle of all descriptions, sheep, &c. On Tuesday, August 12th, they will hold an unreserved sale of choice dairy cows in calf to Lord Stephenson, and near calving, the property of Mr A. Ramsay, Rangiaohia. Yes ! It is certainly true.
