Itf the House of Commons to-day, Loid Edward Fitzmaurice, Under-Secretary for/Foreign Affairs, announced that intelligence liad reached the Government that General Gordon is still at Khaitoum, and holding his own against the besiegers. The garrison have made constant sallies from the town, with varying success.
