Gentlemen, — Having been requested by a large number of friends to contest the ensuing election in the Government interest, I have the honour to offer myself as your representative in the next Parliament. I would give a general support to the policy of the present Government, including the Native Land Bill, and would do my utmost to secure the completion of the through North Island Railway, which I consider an absolute necessity.
I will Address the Electors at the various centres as follows :—: — Ngaruawahia. — Thursday, July 10th. Hamilton. —Friday, July 11th. Ohaupo. — Saturday, July 12th. Te Awamutu. — Monday, July 14th. Kihikihi. — Tuesday, July loth. Alexandra.— Wednesday, July 1 6th. Te Rore.— Thursday, July 17th. Paterangi. — Friday, July 18th. Cambridge West. — Saturday, July 19th.
