In the Legislative Assembly last evening, the lesolutions of the Sydney Com ention were again under consideration, when Mr Wrixon moved a series of amendments modifying the constitution ot the proposed Federal Council, especially in the direction of providing for the representation, of the various colonies on thee ouncil on a basis of population. After discussion, the amendment was rejected by a large majority. Mr Service has given notice of a motion for an address to the Queen embodying the Convention's resolutions.
