In pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881," I, WILLIAM N. SEARANCKE, Returning Officer for the Electoral Distiict of Waikato, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date tho 27th day of June, 18S4-, under the hand of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held lor the return of one qualified person to serve as Member for the baid electoial district, and that the nomination of candidates will take place at the Courthouse, Cambiidge, at noon, on the sixteenth day of July, 18S4, and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken at the several polling places of the said district, on the twentysecond day of July, ISB4.
