S. ANDREW'S (CAMBRIDGE) CHURCH WORKERS' ASSOCIA TION.
It will be remembered that some two years ago the above association was started under very favourable auspices, and though it has prospered more or less since its inaugmution, very little has been heard of its opeiations. A few days ago it was deemed essential to the success of the association that its membei a should hold social reunions at shoit intervals throughout the year by way of uniting and bringing together all those who take any active part in the vaiious special works aud offices connected with the church ; and it was very properly deemed that such meetings' aa these would aid mateiially to enlarge the operations of the association and increase its members from the body generally. The first of these meetings or social gatherings was held in the schoolroom of the church on Monday evening and was in esery respect a success. The e veiling commenced with a soiree, the tallies being pro\ ided by a few of the ladias of the church, and it is needless to say that the spread was well patronised. The musical and literary portion of the piogramme commenced at eight o'clock, when the Venerable Archdeacon took the chair.
