THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS IN ENGLAND [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] London, June 27.

The cricket match, Australians v Gentlemen of England, was resumed today at Kenningtou Oval,- in splendid weather, and before a large attendance of spectators. The Gentleman, with two wickets down for 91, continued their their first innings, which closed for a total of 20 1, or 32 ahead of the Austialians. The highest scorers were : Studd, b, 10 ; Lucas, b, 18 ; Grace, c, ' 107 ; Read, b, 25 ; Steel, c, 24 ; Lord Harris, st., 35 ; Diver, c, 20. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and at the close of the day's play the scores stood at 150 with six wickets down. On the 28th tue match was resumed in the presence of an enormous number of spectators, by whom the greatest interest was taken in the contest. The weather was fine and the wicket lively. The second innings for the Australians closed 10r1219. The highest scorers were : Bannermau, c, 48 ; Murdoch, c, 29 ; Blackham, b, 21 ; Bonnor, b3O ; Midwinter, not out, The Gentlemen, requiring to make ISB runs to win, went ill a second time, but owing to the splendid bowling of the Australians only succeeded in scoring 141, the visitors thus winning the match by 46. In the Gentlemen's second innings the highest scorers were : Grace, c, 30 ; Studd, c, 23 ; Lucas, b, 21 j Steel, c and b, 22. Jx"
