Thk Times, to-day, states that the Porte has addressed a note to the English Government, proposing the withdrawal of the British troops from Kgypt, and replacing them by a Turkish force, or by a mixed Turkish, English, French, and Spanisli force.
The Bank Bate. London, June 17. The Bank of England rate of discount has been reduced to 2 per cent.
