\XTAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL. Ratepayers of the above County are heieby notified, in compliance with Sections 12 and 49 of " The Roads and Biidges Act, 1852," that the Waipa County Council have applied to the Government for a loan of £042 for the following works — viz :—: — Main Road in Kihikihi.— Giadiug and Forming. Estimated cost, £70. Main Road, Kihikihi to Te Awamutu. — Draining, Forming aud Gravelling. Estimated cost, £220. Ohaupo to Alexandra.— Grading, Forming and Draining. Estimated cost, £175. Kihikihi to Cambiirlge. —Claying and Forming. Estimated cost, £100. Ohaupo to Hamilton.— Earthworks. Estimated cost, £40. Newcastle to Alexandra.— Cuttings and Formation. — Estimated cost, £37. The amouut of the yeaily payments (ten) to be made to the Government will be £16 Is per annum, and the special rate required to meet them will be oneone hundred and seventy seventh ot a penny in the £ on the rateable values. Plans, specifications and detailed estimates of the cost of the above proposed works may be seen at the office of the Waipa County Council, Ohaupo, during ordinary business hours.
