The Piako County Council having made application for a grant in aid of Main Roads within the County, Ratepayers of the above' Riding are hereby notified as under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, section 12 and 49 : — Works proposed to be undertaken within abo\ c Riding :— Erecting four Bridges, several Culverts, Draining and Clearing on Main Road between Norris's corner and Stamford" bridge. Estimated cost, £840. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be £21 per year for ten years, and the special rate required to meet same is onetwentieth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Taotaoroa Riding. Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of such proposed woik may be seen at the office of the Piako County Council, Cambridge, during ordinary business hours.
