Mr Heather has been appointed Managing Director for Auckland ; Mr E. Gillett, Managing Director for Waikato. Shareholders are invited to place themselves in communication with either of these gentlemen at once, setting out their probable requirements for the coming season. Any information, or suggestions, that will assist the management to further the object the Association has in view, will bu gladly received. The Share List is now re-opened. Applications will be received at the offices of the Company, or by any of the Directors. The special attention of Shareholders is called to the power given the Association to receive calls in full to the amount of 10s per share, and to pay interest on such prepaid shares at the rate of 8 per cent. MELBOURNE CUP, 1884. Adam Bkde is now forming a series of companies on the abore great event. 2,000 investors at £1 each. To be divided as follows :— First hoise, £1000; second horse, £200 ; third horse, £100 ; other starters (divided), £300 ; non-starters (divided), £400. Total, £2000. It is particularly requested that early application, for Shares will, be made, as each list will be drawn soon as filled. Results will be forwarded to subscribers immediately after drawing, and the ne\t libt proceeded with. Any aubscribtr drawing a horse in any list will be allowed, if he so desires it, to invest in the following list any sum not exceeding Three Pounds without remitting any furthevcashthisamountto be ultimately deducted from prize money. The acceptances for this race are declared in August. Before that date Drawings will contain thewhole of the horses Entered, aud every home will receive a prize, but after that date" the Acceptors Only will be drawn. ,The Drawings will be conducted by a Committee chosen from the Subscribers.
