The' following new bills were introduced,and read a first time:—e :— Caversham Drainage, Abolition of Phuality of Voting (Barron) ; Manukau Haibour BoaVd (Hamlin) ; I icensing Amendment, School Committee Election (Mr Steward); Extension bf Hours of Polling (Mr Barron) ; TowifDistncts Act Amendment (Mr, VVhitakcr) ; Eight Houis, Local Option Extension (Mr M. W. Green) ; Seamen's Repicscntation (Mr Bracken), Several sessional committees were appointed. The House rose at 3.5.
