The Piako, County Council having made application for a grant in aid of Main Roads within the County, Ratepayers of the above Ridiug are' hereby notified . as under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, section 12 aud 49 : — Works proposed to bo undertaken within above Riding :— Erecting four Bridges, several Cul- J vertg, Draining aud Clearing on Main „ Road between Norris's corner and Stamford bridge. Estimated cost, £840. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will Be £21 per year for ten years, and the special rate , required to • meet same is onetwentieth of a -penny in the £ on all rateable property * within the Taotaoroa Riding. The Piako County Council having made applicatipn for a grant in aid of main roads ' within the County, Ratepayers of the above, Riding, are hereby notified as under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, 1 sections 12 and 49. - „, , Works proposed to be undertaken within above Riding :— Earth-cutting, grading, draining, gravelling a d making cu!y rts on a portion of main road lying between confiscation line and Waihou river. Estimated cost, £400. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will le £10 per year for ten years and the speoi il rate required to meet same is one hundred and sixtieth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Waitoa riding. Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of such proposed work may be seen at the office of the Piako County Council, Cambridge, _ duriug ordinary business hours.
