PIAKO COUNTY. ■ Taotaoroa Riding. Roads and Bridges Construction Act, ■ 1882, and Amendment Act, 1883. The Piako County Council having made application for a grant in aid of Main Roads within the County, Ratepayers of .the above Riding are hereby notified as under, in accordance with the provisions ,of the above Act, section 12 and 49 : — j ' Works proposed to be undertaken within above Riding :— Erecting four Bridges, several Culverts, Draining and Clearing on Main Road between Norris's corner and Stamford bridge. Estimated cost, £840. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be £21 per year for ten years, and the special rate required to meet same is one-twentU-th of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Taotaoroa , Riding. Plans, specifications, and detailed estimates of the cost of such proposed work may be scon at the office ot the Piako County Council, Cambridge, during ordinary business hours.. The Piako County Council having made application for a grant in aid of main roads within the County, Ratepayers of the above Riding are hereby notified us under, in accordance with the provisions of the above Act, sections )2 and 49. Works proposed to be undertaken within above Riding :— Earth-cutting, grading, draining, gravelling a 1 d malting culverts on a portion of main road lying between confiscation line and Waihou river. Estimated cost, £400. The amount of the payments required to be made to the Government will be £10 per year for ten years and the special rate required to meet same is one hundred and sixtieth of a penny in the £ on all rateable property within the Waitoa riding. Plans, specifications, and detailtd estimates of the cost of such proposed work may be seen at the office of the Piako County Council, Cambridge, during ordinary business hours.
