Hkighton and Co., New Zealand Labour Evchange, 177, Queenj street, Auckland, report.— The supply of men and women servants- has been brisk, and far exceeding the demand, especially in. farm hands. The chief cause of the rapid supply is owing to so many arrivals from vaiious parts of New Zealand, Australia, &c. By our over, supply we are enabled to meet the want-, of our employers more to their satisfaction and requnements. Our engagements during the week arc as follow :— Milkcis, 10s to 15-, per week; labomoi-, fis to 8s per day ; bush hands, .« per day and house ; farm hands, 15s to 20s per week ; useful men, 20s ; under grooms, 203 per week and found ; blacksmiths, 40* per weok and found ; waiters, 255 ; second cooks, 2os to 30s ; cooks, 50s and found ; married couples £75 to £a>j and found ; we can supply general hands, clerks, Htoicmen, giooms and gardeners, baker*' assistants, carpentois, liotelmou, waiteis, man cooks, mairicd couples for farms and bush, labomers, milkers, station hands, station mnnageis, farm hands and farm managers.
