Letters have been received here from elie Go\ c: nor-General of Dar u- ( m extensive territory belonging to Egypt to the westward of Kordofan), announcing that supplies having become exhausted he has yielded to the rebels in order to avoid bloodshed, and Capt. Fashr is now in the hands of the Mahdi.
