WAHANUI AND WANGANUI. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, Tuesday.
Wamjanui, Tuesday. The Mayor, Mr C.irbon, entertained the Ngatiamauiapoto chief, Wahanui and suite at lnnclieon this afternoon. Mr Watt, M.U.E., Mr Ballanoe, and a number of local notables were present. Wahanui expressed gratification at his reception ami hoped that soon nil hindrance to prospecting the country would be removed.
Wahanui has written to Mr Bryce to say that it is his intention to go to Wellington and make a stay there dining the session.
