HYDRAULIC LIME TRADE MARK J.Wiison&C? AUCKLAND, N.Z. T7ARMERS have not realised the X. value of concrete to them, and are kept from using it through mistaken ideas of cost, and fear that thej' cannot carry out such works as concrete dairies, out-bmldings, tanks, sheep-dips, &c, or lay kitchen, dairy, barn, cowshed, stockyard, piggery, fowl-house, or any pother floors, without engaging skilled labour. No doubt mon acquainted with the work have tho advantage, but still, any intel gent man who follows our instructions can soon acquire the necessaiy information. A dairy Bft. x 10ft. by Bft. high, if lined, will take 1000 ft of timber for walls and floors, at 13a per 100 ft, £7 10s. The same in concrete requires 40 bushels of lime at Is od, £3 10», and eisjht yards gravel at 4s, £1 12a— or 4Ss less than timber When gravel ia not available, rich clay, well burned, makes a good substitute. Tho coot of burning a cubic yard varies from la 0d to :2s with wood, or 2s to 2s Od with coal. There is no difficulty in treating it. Please aetul dimensions of buildings, tanks, floois, &c, and purposes intended for, and we will letuui estimates of all materials required, stating thickness to make walls and floors, and circular explaiulng treatment of lime.
