On each Friday, in Auckland, at the "Haymarket," for Horses. Carriages, Harness, Hay, Corn, Seeds, &c., &c.

On each Tuesday, at the " Haymarket " for Wool, Sheepskins, Hides, Tallow, &c, &c. at 12 o'clock.

At Waiuku, on th first Saturday in each month.

At Pukekohe, on the first Monday in each month.

At Drury, on the Third Wednesday in each month.

At Papakura, on the last Wednesday in 3ach month.

The objects for which the Company is established are as follow :— (1) To offer facilities to farmers for the shipment by the most approved means of their produce to the various markets of the world, and appointment -of agents in different localities for the furtherance of this object. (2) To effect advances on any securities, real or personal, that I lie Directors appointed by the Association may think fit. (3) To procure for sale to the Shareholders, Cornsacks, Woolpacks, Agricultural Implements, Seeds, and other articles of consumption, or otherwise, that the Directors to be appointed by the Association may think fit. (4) To extend the working of the Association in any direction which may seem likely to benefit the members. (5) To confine the advantages of the Association exclusively to members. (6) To conduct the operations of the Association on a cash basis. (7) To divide the profits that may accrue to the Association in the conduct of its business among the shareholders of the Association pro rrfu in accordance with the amount of business done by each shareholder, after paying such dividends on paid-up Capital as may be declared from time to time, and after setting aside any funds as a reserve fund that the Directors of the Association may think fit. (8) And the doing of all such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects. The liability of the shareholders Is limited. The nominal capital of the company is ten thousand pounds, divided into ten thousand shares of one pound each, payable in instalments as follows : — One shilling on application, one shilling on allotment, and one shilling at intervals of not less than one month. Application for shares to be made to Mr Barton, Secretaty pro tern, at Hamilton ; Mr Roche, Te Awamutu ; Messrs. Grant and Crossan, Auckland ; or any of the directors, from whom all particulars can be obtained. N.B. — No dividend shall exceed 8 per cent.

MELBOURNE CUP, 1884. Adam Bede is now forming a series of companies on the above great event. 2,000 investors at £1 each. Any .subhciibtr drawing a horse in any list will be allowed, if he so desires it, to invest in the following list any sum not excecdinc: Three Pounds without remitting any furthercashthisamountto be ultimately deducted from pi ize money. The acceptances for this race are declared in August. Before that date Drawings will contain thewhole of the horses Entered, aud every horse will receive a prize, but after that date the Acceptois Only will be drawn. The Drawings will bo conducted by a Committee chosen from the Subscribers. No. 1 Now Open. — Application by Letter Only, enclosing Two Stamps, with exchange on Cheques, or by Money Order, Bank Notes, or Drafts. Registered Letters or Telegrams will not on any account be received. If bank notes are sent, please use two envelope, one sealed and placed inside the other. P.O. Order 3 preferred when procurable.
