Fire. ArcKLAXD, Wednesday Ni#hfc. A hTABLi; belonging to Mr.TameaPhilson, Avenue Road, was burned down this morning. It -\\ as insured for £70 in the New Zealand OtHce.
Indecent Assault. Norman McKenzie was charged with indecent assault on a little gill, but the case was dismissed.
Boat Race. Tlie mco between Dream and Ika, lesulted in a \ictory for Dieam by twenty •second'!.
Sharemarket. No sales to-day.
Accident. John Monts, working in the railway woikshops at Mechanics' Bay, hart all the fingers of his hand cut oft by a cucular saw.
