Special Meeting.
A special meeting of the council was held on Tuesday evening for the purpose of receiving and passing the accounts. Prosent : His Worship the Mayor, Ora. Davy, Gaudin, Scott, Tippen, Yon Stunner, Johnson and Bradley. Tho annual and half-yearly statements of accounts were read and signed. From the former it appeal ed that the total revenue for the past year amounted to — rates, £fiOO Gs 11 ; rents, &c, £75 2s fid ; licenses, £10(5 ; loan, £150 ; total, £1021 19 S 2d. Tho expenditure amounted to £102(5, leaving a debit balance, at Bank of £584 lib 3d.
