COPY of a BY-LAW to PROHIBIT the running at laige of PIGS and GOATS proposed to be made by special order by the Waipa County Council on Tuesday, May 13th, ISB4. 1. Any pigs or goats found running at large in any pait ot the county may be impounded by any petson in any public pound, or in any cnclosuic specially ap pointed for tho puipose by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this by-law, only be deemed a public pound, and the like fees and damages shall he payable in lespect of any pigs or goats impounded theiein as in the case of a public pound. 2. The owner of any pig or goab found limning at large as aforesaid shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay, in addition to the fees and damages mentioned in section 1 of this by-law, a sum not exceeding £1 for every pig or goat so found running at large to be recovered in the manner piovided by the 208 th section of •• The Counties Act, 1870."
