DUNEDIN, Friday.

A serion3 accident has again happened .it the powder mill at Owaka, iv the Clutha county. At 5 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon Win. Mould, mill keeper, lifted the work charge and laid " a green one " down, and he was in the act of removing the work charge to the charge house when the green charge exploded. The charge he was carrying ignited at the same time and his clothes took fife, but he had the presence of mind to jump into the water race and so extinguished the flames. The upper part ef his body, principally the chest and arms, were severely burnt, and he had his collarbone broken by some timber falling on him. The mill building was completely shattered by the explosion, Work was only resumed at the mill three weeks ago after effecting the repairs necessitated by the previous explosion. Mould was brought to the Dunedin hospital.
