\TT AI P A COUNTY. COPY of a BY-LAW to PROHIBIT the running at large of PIGS and GOATS proposed to be made by special order by the Waipa County Council on Tuesday, May 13th, ISB4. 1. Any pigs or goats found running at lar^e in any part oi the county may be impounded by any person in any public pound, or in any enclosure specially appointed for the puipo&e by the Council, and publicly notified. Such enclosure shall, for the purpose of this by-law, only be deemed a public pound, and the like fees and damages shall be. payable in respect of any pigs or goats impounded therein as in the case of a public pound. 2. The owner of any pig or goat found running at large as atoresaid shall be deemed guilty of an offence, and shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay, in addition to the fees and damages mentioned in section 1 of this .» by-law, a sum not exceeding £1 for every pig or goat so found running at large to be recovered in the manner provided by the 208 th section of " The Counties ; Act, 1876."
