The objects for which the Company is established are as follow :— (1) To oifer facilities to farmers for the shipment by the most appioved means of their produce to the vaiious ni irkets of the woild, ami appointment of agents iv diffuient localities for tlie furtheiance of this object. (2) To eflect advances on any securities, real or personal, that the Directors appointed by tlie Association may think fit. (3) To piocure for sale to the Shareholders, Cornsacks, Woolpacks, Agricultural Implements, Seeds, and other articles of consumption, or otherwise, that the Uiiectors to be appointed by the j Association may think fit. (4) To extend the working of the Association in any direction which may seem likely to benefit the members, (o) To confine the advantages of the Association exclusively to members. (6) To conduct the operations of the Association on a cash basis. (7) To divide the piofits that may acci ue to the Association in the conduct of its business among the shdrcholdeis of the Association pio uitit m accordance with the a-nount of business done by each slureholdei, after paying such dividends on paid-up Capital as may be declaicd fiom time to lime, and aftei seating :\s do any funds as a le^eivc fund that the Directors of tiie A'.'jociation may think fit. (8) Ami the doing of all sue h other things as aie incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects. The liability of the shareholders is limited. The nominal capital of the company is ten thotiaiud pounds, divided into ten thousand sh.ui_s of one ponud each, payable in instalments as follows : — One shilling on application, one shilling on allotment, and one shil'ing at intervals of not less than one month. Grant and Crossan, Auckland ; or any of the directois, from whom all particulars can be obtained. N.B. — No dividend shall exceed 8 per cent.
REGULAR SALES OF LIVE STOCK AND AGRICULTURAL PROduce are held by the undeisigned, as folows :—: — Each Thursday, at Remuera — the principal market for Fat Stock of every descuption. On each Friday, in Auckland, at the "Haymarket," for Hoiscs. Carriages, Harness, Hay, Corn, Seeds, &c, <fee. On each Tuesday, at the " Haymarket " for Wool, Sheepskins, Hides, Tallow, &c. , &c. at 12 o'clock. At Waiuku, on th first Saturday in each month. At Pukekohe, on the first Monday in each month. At Drury, on the Third Wednesday in each month. At Papakura, on the last Wednesday in aach month.
