Mk Alfred Bucklvnd'.s Wheklv RePOKT.—On Saturday, April 12th, fodder was at late values, bringing from 3s t<i 5b 3d the cwt.; chaff, £4 10* the ton ; oats,' from 2s 5d to 3s 9d the bushel. Horse stock were yarded in full numbets, but were of low values; no fresh stock offered, and prices were without change. Two buggies brought £40 and £39 respectively. A small supply of hides and skins maintained late values. Hides ranged from 3d to 4^d the lb,; pelts from 8d to Is 3d each ; wool, 4jd to T>lb the lb. At Ellerslie on Wednesday the young thoroughbred horses belong ing to the Stud Company were freely competed for and satisfactory prices obtained for them, but the brood mains and the ho.ivy draught mares and coltb sold at low prices. At Drury on Wednesday there was a larger than average muster of cattle, and prices for dairy stock were good, but stores were dull of s.ile. A few horses sold satisf.ictoiily, ranging in pnco fiom £(> to £2(510s At Remuera on Thuisday, dairy cattle weie numerous, those near calving in good demand. Store cattle at low values. Fat cattle in greater number than requued, the trade being full. Bidding was inegular, and piices ranged from 11s to 22«, but the general price for good quality w.vs between l(ss and 18s the 1001 bs. Fat sheep in moderate supply only, and at last week's values. Fat Limbs plentiful; prices for good lambs in their wool, ranged fi om 10s to 12s each.

Blood and draught stock found pm.-hasei^ at prices, on the whole, sntisfactoiy to vendois. The Durham Yards sale was held on Saturday. There wtu» a good muster of hordes, but the change of day had, as usual, a damping effect on the sale, and as it was known that shipments were to hand for the following, buyers wore disposed to wait, consequently bidding was slow, but piices showed little alteration on the previous week's values. Cattle: The holidays interfened connideiably ■with the market, and but a limited number of dairy and store stock were disposed of, but there was an adequate supply of fat beasts, which were a shade lower in value than on the pre\ ions week. The Newrnaiket sale was held .it eleven a.m., but notwithstanding the -lay being a, half-holiday, there was a good muster of buyers, and bidding was spirited, although rates for fat beasts wore MMicely so high, as on the previous week, but daiiy stock weie a shade higher. Sheep: The Newmarket y.xids were well filled, the demand uas spirited and piices advanced fully 2s pei head foi best desciiptions. Lambs sold fiom 10a i)d to l."»s, fat sheep, 13s to Kis 3d. Pigs were plentiful and weie well competed for at from 2d to 3d per lb. live weight.
