Sydney, April 17. In- the race for the Cup. yesterday, soon after the stait, Martini- Henry broke avv.vy and fell, and Morpeth came clown on the top of him. Morpeth's leg was broken, and he has since been destroyed. Martini's jockey was injured, but the horse itself escaped.
