Hkichton and Co., 177 Queen-street, Auckland report :— The demand for men servants has increased, and thereby has enabled us to place many idle hands into situations to their satisfaction Womon servants are as usual greatly m demand, althougl) we have filled a few vacancies during the last week. Engagements as follows :— Married couples for farms, £(50 to £80 ; mairied couples for the bush, £00 and found ; farm hands, 15s to 20s ; Youths for milking, 10s to 17s 6d ; bush hands, Cs to 7* per day <md free house, and other hands at miscellaneous wages. We have good carpenteis waiting employment at 10s per day, and men cooks, baker-,, etc. Women servants at umi.il quotations.
