Mr Alfred Bucklvxd's Weekly Report.—At the Hayniarkot on Fiiday, April 4, fodder ranged fiom 3s h> 4s 3d the cwt.; oats 2s nd tho hinhel. Horse stock were yarded in much largei number than usual. There w,h a numerous attendance Jof -buyers, and pi ice* weic satisfactoiy throughout. Draught stock ranged fioin £23 to £35 ; the ponies, from £4 to €7 10-, ; i iding horses, £7 to £29. On Tuesday at the hide and skin sale, hide-, w ere m dem md ; prices ranged from l 4 ld to 4jd the lb. ; buuud and %clean hides free fioin cuts brought from 3d upwaida ; tollow and fats, from 18s to 28& the cwt. ; skint, and pelts, from Id to 2- 3d ; and wool fioin 4UI to s^' the lb. At W.iiuku, on Monday, sth of April, stock weie in full number- and good condition. Bidding was dull, But all were wild at full market value*. The sale at Mi Geoigo Glew.-", Famuro, w.is fully attended by the neighb<uu-. Puces weie go )d throughout ; the br-t cow-, ranged as high as £15 each. At Pukekohe, on Monday, an unvioiially full market (a large nuinbsr of cowrt and heifers near their pioHt) met a good enquiry. The demand was biihk throughout, and better pi ices obtained than for several months. At Kemuera, on Thursday dairy cows were in usual number, and at late values. Store cattle in gi eatei than average supply, many of them of choice breeding, but pi ice- were low. Two-year-old steer-, £2 13s to £3 ; three yearold heifer.-., £2 lo- to £3 2- (id ; steer calves, 255. Fat cattle weie of good quality and abundant, pries- lower, and ranged between 15s and 20-, the bundled lbs. Fat sheep in full number, and fully maintained last week's pi ices.
