KIHIKIHI.

A rum ie meeting called by the parents of children attending the°Kihikihi school, was held in theTi)wu Hall on Wednesday evening List, Mr Dyer in the chair. About GO peisons attended. The object of the meeting was to piotest against the action of the .Education Boaui, with legaid to Mr Nicholson the teacher. The follow ing resolutions weie unanimously passed. 1. That this meeting condemns, the action of the 13o:ucl in constantly removing teachers wheie they give satisfaction to the people of the dwtnet, and ti y ing to givts effect to the wishes of a few, theiebv stniing up stiife among the settles. (2.) That this meeting wholly condemns the actions of a few individuals in endeavouring to c.ary .t point. (3.) That this meeting has full confidence in Mr and Mr.-> Nicholson as teachers of the school, and expies^ sati&factioi at the way the children <ire piogiessing under their tuition, and is of opinion the Board should .stop any fuither pioceediugs against Mr Nicholson. A resolution was passed that the foregoing lesolutions bci for war led to the Boaui. A vote of thanks to the chaw terminated the pioceedmgs.
