Consols finther advanced an eighth to-day, aud aie quoted at 1024. The market rate of discount has declined by an eighth, and is now I below the Bank rate, which is 3 per cent. New Zealand securities remain at yesterday's quotations. Adelaide wheat, e\ store, remains at 43s ; New Zealand ditto , 35s to 41 «. Adelaide flour, ex store, lemaiua at 295. Australian tallow remains unchanged. The second of this year's series of wool sales opens on Tuesday, the 29th inst. No limit will be placed on the quantity to be offered. The Bank of .South Australia has declared a dividend for the last half-year ,\b the rate of seven per cent, per annum, together with a bonus < f fiv« shillings a share, and carries £7000 to the reseive fund.
