TAWHIAO'S DEPARTURE.
Tawhiao took his departure from Auckland, eu route for England, by the Taraweia, which left for Sydney on Tuesday night. At Melbourne he will tranship into the Sorata, and proceed Home vi.i the Suez Canal. He is accompanied by Te Whom o, Patara, Topia. Hon liopiha and Mr Skidmore (mterpretei.) On Tuesday morning Tawhiao visited Government Hoiu,c, and had an interview with the Goveinoi, who graciously received the paity, and ga\e the king botnegood advice concerning the trip, indicating the places of mt'iie-.t he would be likely to see, and ospiessuig a hope that ho would enjoy the visit. His Excellency also gave Tawhi.io a map of the unite Tawhiao was much gratified with his tec-p-tuin, and subsequently refened to the viovernor m vciy cn>ui)lime'itaiy ti^'iii-. A large crowd gathered on the vvhaif to ->ii.the paity oif.
