No. 2 — Giading and Cutting near Railu ay Bridge, Ohaupo- Alexandra Road. No. 3 -Side Diains, Outfall, Forming, &c, on flat near Meyer's corner. No. 4— Forming and Grading between Paterangi Cheese Factory and McFai lane's. No. 3— Siding, Cuttings, etc., between Whatawhata and Tnhikaramea. No. 6 — Cutting clown Johnson's nill, near Hamilton.
Specifications for the above may be seen at our office, Hamilton, and for No. 1 at Councillor Teasdale's, Te Awamutu ; Nos. 2 and 3, Delauey's Hotel, Ohaupo ; No. 4, Post-office, t'aterangi ; No. 3, at Councillor Lang's residence, Tuhikaramea, on and after Monday, the 31st inst. We will be on the ground to point out the works to intending contiactors at dates to he advertised in a futuie issue. T^EFENCE DEPARTMENT. SEALED TENDERS in duplicate will be received by the undersigned up to NOON on THURSDAY, 10th April, for the Supply ot RATIONS to the Armed Constabulary or other Colonial Forces in Waikato District from 2 1st Apiil, 1884, to the 31st March, ISB3. Specifications can be seen at the A.C. Office, Cambridge. Each tender must be accompanied by a cheque for (£23) twenty-five pounds, made payable to the Receiver-General only, and not to the bearer, and marked by a Banker as good for 21 days, as a guarantee that the Contract will be taken up. The successful tenderer will be required to find two approved securities of £230 each for the due fulfilment of the Contract, tendereis to specify the names and addi esses of their sureties on the tenders.
