Thk trial of the Brisbane Courier, for the publication of alleged libels upon members of the Legislative Assembly, in an aiticle commenting upon the proceedings of the Elections ami Qualifications Committee will commence on the sth proximo. Melbourne, March 27. A grand Masonic ceremony took place in the Melbourne Town Hall yesterday, when Sir William Clark was installed District Grand Master of the English, Scetch, and Irish Constitutions Fully 3000 M.vsons were present. In the evening a levee and banquet was held at the Town Hall, attended by eleven hundred people. The whole of the day's proceedings passed off \\ ith great eclat. Sydney, March 27.
