THE LATEST. Advance of General Graham.—England and the Soudan. [Received March 26th, 12.30 p.m.] Cairo, March 25.
Latest despatches from Suakim state that General Graham lias started with his staff for Tainonr, -with the object of forming plans for the projected operations in that quatter against the rebels under Osman Digna. London, March 25. In the House of Commons to-day, Lord Edmund Fitzmauricc, Under-Secretaiy for Foreign Affairs, in reply to enquiries on the subject of the announcement of the intended movement of British troops from Suakim to Tainont, stated that General Graham's object was to disperse the rebek who were still iv the neigbourhood of Suakim, and open the road fiom that place to Berber, through the districts occupied by the fiiendly tribes.
